Privacy notice – Desk Booking Application


This privacy (“Notice”) is provided by Teva Pharmaceuticals Europe B.V. & Teva API B.V. ("Teva"). Teva is referred to in this Notice as “we”, “us” and “our.”


Scope of this notice

This Notice applies to your use of the Condeco Desk Booking Application (“Desk Booking Application”) including both a desktop application and a mobile app. This Desk Booking Application provides you with the ability to book a desk at the Teva office in order to align with the Dutch COVID-19 regulations requiring physical distance and contact tracing at the workplace. All employees (including contingent workers, interns and other contractors) of Teva (“Employees”) are required to book a desk at the office before attendance at the office, which includes invitation of any guests, i.e. non-Teva Employees. This Desk Booking Application also allows Teva to administer the legally required distance between individuals at the workplace, comply with sanitation requirements, and when necessary initiate any contact tracing or other COVID-19 related legal requirements.


How we use your personal data

In the Desk Booking Application, your name and email address are required in order for you to book a desk at the office. The personal data that are processed are your name, email address, the names/email addresses/companies of any guests that you register in the app, and information on the desk bookings you have made (date / time / location of desk). Note that all Employees can search who has booked which desk in the office within a two-week time window. Reports on desk bookings will be shared regularly with Teva Facility Management and HR in order to take the appropriate measures needed regarding COVID 19 situation (such as arrange for adequate sanitation, contact in case of a COVID-19 report, monitor maximum headcount in the office).

Our legal basis under applicable data protection laws for processing your personal data is Teva’s legitimate interests in ensuring workplace health and safety in compliance with Dutch COVID-19 regulations. As a result, we are required to carry out a balancing test of our legitimate business interests in using your personal data as outlined above against your interests and rights under the data protection law. The data processed as part of the Desk Booking Application will remain within the European Union (unless required to be transferred as a result of the third bullet above). Cookies and related tracking technologies

Use of cookies on digital properties/platforms (‘Sites’)

Condeco is using cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons to collect information about you and store your online preferences. Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a Site. How we store your information

The information processed as part of the Desk Booking Application will only be retained for a period necessary to ensure compliance with COVID-19 distancing regulations. For more information on your particular circumstance, please contact EUPrivacy@tevaeu.com.


Your rights

You may be entitled under applicable law to ask Teva for a copy of your information, to correct it, erase or restrict its processing, or to ask us to transfer some of this information to other organisations. You may also have rights to object to some processing (in particular, where we do not have to process the information to meet a contractual or other legal requirement). These rights may be limited in some situations – for example, where we can demonstrate we have a legal requirement or an overarching legitimate interest to process your personal data. Please note that all Employees may view their own data and profile in the app by logging in.

This Notice may change from time to time. Teva will place an updated version of the Notice on this page and may otherwise communicate changes as appropriate. Regularly reviewing this Notice ensures that you are always aware of what information we collect, how Teva uses it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with other parties.
